3.45. Setting the author of the posts

To set the author of the posts saved by WP Content Crawler, do the following:

1. Go to General Settings Page and activate Post Tab. If you want to set a specific site’s author, use custom general settings (See: Using custom general settings for a site) and do these under Settings Tab of Site Settings Page instead.
2. In Post Author setting, select an author
3. Save the general settings. If you did this in Site Settings Page, save the site settings (See: Saving The Settings)

After these steps are done, the selected author will be assigned to the posts saved by WP Content Crawler.
