5.3.3.6. Featured Image Section
Featured images [1] are enabled by your theme. A featured image is a single image that is set to a post. If your theme supports it, the featured image is shown in the post’s front page. This section contains settings that you can use to retrieve an image from the post pages of the target web site and assign that image as the saved post’s featured image.
Note
The settings under this section becomes visible only when Save featured image, if it is not found in category page? setting is checked.
5.3.3.6.1. Save featured image, if it is not found in category page?
If you want to save an image from target page as featured image, check this.
Important
If the post already has a featured image that is assigned in its category page using Featured Image Selectors setting under Category Tab, then that featured image will be used. In that case, the settings you define here will not be applicable to the posts that already have a featured image.
5.3.3.6.2. Featured Image Selectors
Define CSS selectors that find the featured image URLs in the source code of the target post pages. This is a type of Selector and Attribute Setting. If you enter more than one selector, the first match will be used.
5.3.3.6.3. Test Featured Image URL
A full image URL to be used to perform tests in Find and replace in featured image URL setting. To make sure your configurations are applied as you expect, you should enter one of the URLs retrieved from the target site using the selectors defined in Featured Image Selectors setting.
5.3.3.6.4. Find and replace in featured image URL
Define rules that will be applied to featured images found by the CSS selectors you entered in Featured Image Selectors setting. This is a type of Find and Replace Setting. When you click button, the value you entered in Test Featured Image URL setting will be used as the subject.

Important
Make sure the changes you make does not make the featured image URLs invalid.
