3.41. Saving posts as draft or pending (defining post status)

To save posts as draft or pending, do the following:

1. Go to General Settings Page and activate Post Tab. If you want to change a specific site’s post status, use custom general settings (See: Using custom general settings for a site) and do these under Settings Tab of Site Settings Page instead.
2. In Post Status setting, select Draft or Pending or another status. For more information about post statuses, see Post Status.
3. Save the general settings. If you did this in Site Settings Page, save the site settings (See: Saving The Settings)

After these steps are done, the posts will have the selected post status.
