7.3.3.5. Authentication Key¶
Authentication key that is retrieved from DeepL’s website. This has to be entered for the translation to work properly. See this page for more information on how to retrieve the key.
7.3.3.6. Formality¶
Defines how formal the translation result should be. This is supported for only certain languages. See the API’s documentation for more information (search for “formality” in the page). To be on the safe side, you can select the values starting with prefer_. For example, instead of less, you can use prefer_less. In that case, the API does not return an error if the target language does not support formality.
